About Us
Mysterious History is a place to learn about and discuss pieces of history that are mysterious (of course), curious, or otherwise fascinating. These can range from lesser-discussed parts of history, unanswered questions, the weird, the obscure, and even things found in the present world.
Our goal is to introduce you to things that are interesting. Because this is a blog, we prioritize presenting and summarizing these topics rather than analyzing them at the level of historians and published scholars. With that being said, our content is independently researched and we are dedicated to using credible sources.
WHO WE ARE
Richard “Ricky” Drouin is the one behind the “r” at the end of our posts. I run the blog and write most of what you’ll see here. I’m an avid writer both professionally and elsewhere—and, in case you haven’t guessed, I’m also fascinated by the strange and mysterious.
